Stoffel Vandoorne is a Belgian automobile racing driver. He won the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup in 2012. In 2013 he competed in Formula Renault 3.5 and finished second overall. In 2014 and 2015 he competed in the GP2 series, which he won in 2015. In 2016, he raced in Super Formula and also made his debut in Formula 1, where he competed as a regular driver for McLaren in 2017 and 2018. Vandoorne has been competing in Formula E since the end of 2018 and has also been a reserve driver in Formula 1 with the Mercedes factory team since 2019.
